Before Bradamante I planned an Orlando (Roland) Furioso FF-inspired character design. I always love Orlando Furioso's book written by Ludovico Ariosto and his depiction of Orlando. I want to represent the duality of Ariosto's character as a hero without romantic skills. So, I imagine him as a young templar with soft features (light eyes and freckles) but with a pugilist's face. Also, I've designed armour that can also work for an evil knight. I've worked on the Durendal sword inspired by a reliquary too.
